Personal data we process

• Identity and contact details: the name, email address, phone number, company and job title you share when you write to or call us.
• Enquiry details: the project, service and business information you include in your message.
• Security and technical data: the IP address, browser and device information, time of visit and requested page that our hosting infrastructure records when you visit the site.
• Usage data (only if you consent): through Google Analytics, the pages viewed, time on site, where you came from, approximate location (country/city), device and browser information, and a cookie ID.

Our site has no forms, accounts or comment areas. Analytics cookies run only if you consent in the cookie banner; see our Cookie Policy.

Purposes

• Replying to your requests for information, proposals and meetings,
• Conducting discussions aimed at entering into a service agreement,
• Keeping the site secure and detecting misuse and technical errors,
• If you consent, measuring how the site is used and improving its content accordingly,
• Meeting our legal obligations and responding to requests from competent authorities.

Legal grounds

We process your personal data on the following grounds listed in Article 5(2) of KVKK:

• (c): processing is directly related to entering into or performing a contract — proposals and service discussions,
• (ç): processing is necessary for us to comply with a legal obligation,
• (f): processing is necessary for our legitimate interests, provided it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms — replying to you and keeping the site secure.

Usage data collected through analytics cookies is processed only on the basis of your explicit consent under Article 5(1) of KVKK. You can withdraw it at any time through the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.

Optional third-party content such as the Google map only runs if you choose to load it.

How we collect data

We collect personal data electronically: directly from you when you email, call or message us, and automatically through our hosting infrastructure and, if you consent, Google Analytics cookies when you visit the site.

Transfers

We may share your personal data only as far as needed for the purposes above, with:

• Our hosting provider Vercel Inc. (USA): security and technical data needed to serve and protect the site.
• Our email and business software providers: to store and handle our correspondence with you.
• Google LLC (USA), only if you consent: usage data through Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
• Competent public authorities: on request and as required by law.

Because some of our providers are located abroad, these are transfers outside Türkiye and are carried out in line with Article 9 of KVKK. We do not sell your personal data or share it with third parties for marketing.

Retention

We keep personal data for as long as the purpose requires and for the retention and limitation periods set by law; after that it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

Your rights under Article 11 of KVKK

You may contact us, as data controller, to:

• Find out whether your personal data is processed,
• Request information if it has been processed,
• Learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used accordingly,
• Know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom it has been transferred,
• Ask for incomplete or inaccurate data to be corrected,
• Ask for deletion or destruction under the conditions in Article 7 of KVKK,
• Ask for corrections, deletions and destructions to be notified to third parties who received the data,
• Object to a result against you arising solely from automated analysis of processed data,
• Claim compensation if you suffer damage from unlawful processing.

Making a request

You can send requests in writing to our address above, by registered electronic mail (KEP), or from an email address you have previously shared with us to sup@unitistanbul.com, in line with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller.

Please include your name, surname, Turkish ID number (for foreign nationals, nationality and passport number), postal address for notifications, email and phone if available, and the subject of your request.

We respond as quickly as possible and within thirty days at the latest, free of charge; if the request involves an additional cost, the fee schedule set by the Personal Data Protection Board may apply. If your request is refused, you find the reply insufficient, or we do not reply in time, you may complain to the Board.
