Istanbul real estate fairs: 23–25 October and 25–28 November

Istanbul hosts two property events this autumn: an investment meeting in Büyükçekmece and Egpex at Istanbul Expo Center. How should developers prepare?

Short answer

Istanbul hosts two events this autumn for housing developers and estate agencies: the Istanbul Real Estate Projects Investment Meeting in Büyükçekmece, and the Egpex Eurasia Property Expo at Istanbul Expo Center, aimed at foreign buyers. Whether a contact made at the fair turns into a sale depends on the project page, enquiry form and follow-up prepared beforehand.

Highlights

  • The Istanbul Real Estate Projects Investment Meeting takes place on 23–25 October at First Avenue AVM in Büyükçekmece.
  • The Egpex Eurasia Property Expo runs on 25–28 November at Istanbul Expo Center, focusing on foreign buyers of property in Türkiye.
  • At both events the real work starts after the fair: the buyer you meet decides by researching the project online.

Housing developers and estate agencies have two meetings in Istanbul this autumn. One is aimed at domestic investors and industry professionals, the other at foreign buyers looking for property in Türkiye. With the right preparation, both are a chance to collect new enquiries.

23–25 October: Istanbul Real Estate Projects Investment Meeting

According to Emlakkulisi, the Istanbul Real Estate Projects Investment Meeting will be held on 23–25 October at First Avenue AVM in Büyükçekmece, organised by Cosmic Ajans Organizasyon. The event aims to bring together project developers, investors and industry professionals and to present new residential and commercial projects.

25–28 November: Egpex Eurasia Property Expo

According to Istanbul Expo Center's fair calendar, the Egpex Eurasia Property Expo will take place on 25–28 November at Istanbul Expo Center, organised by Discover Events. The fair aims to connect foreign buyers who want to invest in property in Türkiye with developers, contractors and estate agencies. Its themes include real estate, finance, insurance, construction and citizenship.

How should developers and agencies prepare?

A fair creates the first contact; the buyer usually decides later, after researching the project and the company online. The brochure handed out at the stand gets lost in that research. Completing these steps before the fair makes it easier to turn contacts into enquiries:

  • A separate page for each project with location, unit types, completion date and a contact form; for a fair aimed at foreign buyers, in the buyers' languages such as English and Arabic.
  • A QR code at the stand that leads straight to the project page and records which fair the visit came from.
  • A customer relationship management (CRM) flow that collects enquiries from forms, WhatsApp and phone in one list.
  • Retargeting ads shown in the following weeks to people who visited the page at the fair.
  • Up-to-date details and answered reviews on the map profiles of the office and sales office.

How do you measure enquiries from a fair?

To see a return on the fair budget, label the source of each enquiry from the start: give the QR code and post-fair ads their own tracking parameters, fill in a "source: fair" field in the CRM and link the conversations that become sales to that source. The decision to attend the next fair can then rest on data rather than guesswork. We explain how retargeting works in our retargeting guide.
